| Congratulations goes to Central National Bank - winners of "The Spirit of Fall Fest" award! |
Central National Bank received “The Spirit of Fall Fest” award in 2006, for
being the organization which most exemplified the Spirit of Fall Fest - and
they repeated that in 2007! The bank earned the right to display the Fall
Fest stained glass logo publicly for another year, and have their name
placed on a plaque displayed in the Chamber of Commerce office.
Businesses, churches, clubs and organizations are eligible to compete for
the Spirit of Fall Fest award. The various criteria for receiving the award
includes participating in the Fall Fest Button Promotion, being a paid event
sponsor, being an activity sponsor, having a parade entry, having activity
participants, and being a Fall Fest Booster (which means tagging
advertising with information about Fall Fest).
It is the intention of the Fall Fest Committee that the Spirit of Fall Fest
award be displayed for public viewing in Concordia. Should the recipient be
unable to display the stained glass piece, they may designate it be
displayed at the Cloud County Courthouse, the Concordia City Hall, the
Frank Carlson Library or the Concordia Area Chamber of Commerce.
The stained glass piece, designed by Robin Isaacson, will remain on display
at the bank until Fall Fest 2008.
