Chamber Gift Certificates - The Chamber's Gift Certificate
Program is very popular. The program is simple - Chamber Gift
Certificates can be purchased in any denomination and resolve
the issue of "what-to-buy" since "one-size-fits-all." Chamber Gift
Certificates can be used at any Chamber member business. Last
year sales of Chamber Gift Certificates totaled just under $39,000.

Marketing Opportunities - Chamber members have some
unique promotional advertising opportunities: sponsor a weekly
Chamber Coffee, place an insert in the Chamber
newsletter, or hold a "Business After Hours." Advertising
opportunities are available to Chamber members on various pages
    of the website.

Chamber Coffees are held Tuesday mornings, at 8:15 in the Chamber
Conference Room.
The weekly Coffees offer networking opportunity and fellowship.
Each week a different business leader moderates the Coffee, offering a unique
perspective. Thanks to our Chamber Coffee sponsors for making this event possible!

It's the Retail Division of the Chamber that invited Santa to come to Concordia, provides Santa with bags
of candy and coloring books for his visitors, offered horse & buggy rides, and invited Mrs. Santa Claus to
read to the children.

Cloud County is home to Meridian Way Wind Farm, recently constructed a few miles south of Concordia. The
wind farm site includes 38,000 acres of land, at an elevation of 1650 ft. Meridian Way, a 201 megawatt (MW)
wind farm, is owned by
Horizon Wind Energy, LLC. At the 2009 Fall Fest parade, Vestas had a scale model
of the wind turbines found in the Meridian Way Wind Farm. Following the parade, the model was on display
at a number of businesses around town. Soon, it will move to the Cloud County Tourism office!
