The city of Concordia is the county seat of Cloud County, Kansas. It is located along the Republican River in the Smoky Hills region of the Great Plains in north-central Kansas. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 5,395.

 

Concordia is a vibrant community with a rich history. The favorite historical attractions include the National Orphan Train Complex, POW Camp Concordia, Nazareth Motherhouse, The Brown Grand Theatre, and the Cloud County Historical Museum.

Concordia Area Chamber of Commerce is organized: to maximize quality of life; to enhance development of the trade center; and to promote the religious, health, educational, cultural, civic and governmental interests of its members.

Meet our Executive Director

Annie Bergmann, the former owner and manager of Annie's Fashions in Concordia, has more than 30 years of experience in the public and private sectors, including construction, restaurant, real estate, credit and collections, payroll, legal and retail services. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Kansas State University.

"From my retail experience, I am familiar with the challenge of drawing people to Concordia. I understand the concerns of being a business owner and look forward to the opportunity to assist them," Bergmann said.

Meet our Board Members!

THE 2022 CHAMBER BOARD

The first chamber of commerce was organized in Concordia in 1879 and called the Board of Trade. In 1900 it was organized as the Concordia Commercial Club, which in 1918 became The Chamber of Commerce.

As stated in the original charter, the purpose of the organization is to foster industrial and commercial advancements and to make Concordia a better place to live.

Fall Fest

Come celebrate our 40th year!

This annual event brings in over 6,000 visitors to Concordia each year and traditionally features activities for the whole family, as well as a variety of food and craft vendors from all over the state that comes to sell their wares.
