The city of Concordia is the county seat of Cloud County, Kansas. It is located along the Republican River in the Smoky Hills region of the Great Plains in north-central Kansas. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 5,395.
Concordia is a vibrant community with a rich history. The favorite historical attractions include the National Orphan Train Complex, POW Camp Concordia, Nazareth Motherhouse, The Brown Grand Theatre, and the Cloud County Historical Museum.
Welcome to the Concordia Chamber where businesses and professional people of the community are organized to work voluntarily together to define and solve community problems and bring about needed improvement. As the voice of business in the community, our mission is to be responsive to and reflect accurately the thinking of the community.
Meet our Executive Director
Annie Bergmann, the former owner and manager of Annie's Fashions in Concordia, has more than 30 years of experience in the public and private sectors, including construction, restaurant, real estate, credit and collections, payroll, legal and retail services. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Kansas State University.
"From my retail experience, I am familiar with the challenge of drawing people to Concordia. I understand the concerns of being a business owner and look forward to the opportunity to assist them," Bergmann said.

Meet our FHSU Dane G. Hansen Intern!
Also a Rudd Foundation Scholar, Trinity is entering her junior year at Fort Hays State University studying Digital Marketing. This summer she works with Annie organizing memberships, Fall Fest registration forms, and videography marketing. She is also redesigning the Chamber's website!
This annual event brings in over 6,000 visitors to Concordia each year and traditionally features activities for the whole family, as well as a variety of food and craft vendors from all over the state that comes to sell their wares.
Downtown business activities, holiday movies, carriage rides and Santa comes to town! Join us for a fun filled evening with an old fashioned feel. Bring your kids downtown and enjoy the festive atmosphere as you reminisce while making new memories of your own.
The City of Concordia will be celebrating our Sesquicentennial (150th) all year long! We will be announcing special events - plan to join us in this historical time!
